1. To make account conversion from Garena to Riot, what do I need?
You only need ID & password from your Garena account to transfer your account.
Note: You need to secure account clearance in this period, do not share for anyone to avoid stolen accounts and important data.
2. The official time to be able to start converting League of Legends and CLC from Garena to Riot?
Starting from November 18, 2022 until early January 2023, Vietnamese players can convert accounts from League of Legends and CLC Garena to Riot.
From here until the official day of account conversion (on November 18), we will not ask you to provide ID & password in any way or on any website. Be careful security of your account information and update information from the official channels of the League of Legends/ DTCL.
3. After making an account conversion, what will happen to my account?
After converting an account from Garena to Riot, you will still play League of Legends and CLC on the Garena server as usual. The data includes: transactions, items in the game, gaming process, and the history will still be updated and stored normally until the period of “freezing data” (or “lighting off”) takes place in early January 2023.
So, rest assured that after performing an account conversion on November 18, 2022, all your account data will continue to be updated and fully stored from the Garena server to the new Riot Games server.
4. What does the stage of “freezing data” or the “turning down” stage mean and how will it happen?
This period will take place in early January 2023 (specific date will be announced early on the official channels of the League of Legends/ DTCL), this is the time:
– Payment portal of old publishers will be closed, that is, you cannot load RP during this period.
– You can still log in and experience the League of Legends & Investment on the Garena server, but all the actions and process of your gaming will not be stored (class history, event ticket process, treasure, …)
– Foreign shops, treasures, … in the game will also be temporarily closed, so you will not be able to use the currency in the game to trade during this time.
