A: I am Bengi Bae Seong Woong – the head coach of T1 in 2023. I was a chief coach for 2 months of Worlds. A: After being appointed coach, aiming to the best achievement for the team, I interviewed candidates for the coach position and I will explain simply for you to hear about this process.
About the coach for the BOT pair, there are 2 people that I had to consider a lot. I made an interview with one person first. But the outcome of that person wanted to choose another path and refused this opportunity. For the second candidate, one problem in this year is that between the players there is a lack of trust and even between the coaches there is this. The last period of Worlds I tried my best to eliminate those things. With the achieved results and directions, the candidate that I had hoped was not suitable for the coach's position, so the outcome we had no coach for the bottom line.
Q: What about coach Tom?
A: This year the coaching staff consists of me as the head coach, Sky, Tom and Roach. To talk about recent recent mentions related to coach Tom, he had inappropriate words and actions, and T1 fans may have felt hurt by these. I think these things have caused worries and I want to apologize for that. However, with the position of the coach, I find that he is trying his best to bring the results worthy of the value of the name T1 and a coach that will help the team a lot, so I chose Tom.

I had shortcomings when feedback or when in the competition area, there were things I was not smooth and had thoughts that were not really accurate. For these things, I think the team really needs a coach with a straight personality like Tom, and I decided to choose him.
Q: About Sky and Roach coach?
A: About Sky coach, for communication problems and lack of faith becomes serious, he has contributed a lot to erase everything. In the future, he will definitely do his job well and I chose Sky.
Regarding Roach coach, he was a member of the CL team last year, Roach had the ability to feedback on an overall picture and especially because he was a former Top Laner, so he had a deep understanding of the upper line. I chose Roach because he could see and understand the problem both from the position of the player and a coach.
LOL is a 5 -member team game, the members can talk and give each other's ideas but not always easy and sometimes it is difficult to be “frank”, I think this is the time when there is the appearance of the coach, and this year we will do it together.

A: As a head coach, I made an overview of this year's coaching committee and I really found that they helped me and the whole team a lot.
