Worlds schedule 2023
Start round (10/10 – 15/10): Seoul – LOL Park
The starting round will include 2 representatives of VCS (Vietnam), PCS (Asia – Pacific), No. 1 Seed LLA (Latin America), CBLOL (Brazil), LJL (Japan) and the qualifying championship team.
Swiss round (October 19 – October 23): Seoul – KBS Arena
The Swiss round will consist of 2 teams going from the starting round, 4 seed teams of the LCK area (Korea) – LPL (China), 3 seed teams of the LEC – LCS area. Accordingly, the two leading teams each 4 groups will win the right to the quarterfinals.
Regarding “Swiss format”, in the first round, the teams will be classified as usual. After the first round, the teams with the same winning difference will confront each other. The team that has 2 wins will continue. Any team that has 2 losses will be eliminated. This means that each team will have at least 3 chances to win the right to enter the round.
The quarterfinal round (November 2 – November 5): Busan – Sajik Indoor Gymnasium
Semifinals (11/11 – 12/11): Busan – Sajik Indoor Gymnasium
Final (November 19): Seoul – Gocheok Sky Dome
