BLV Caedrel suddenly retired before Worlds 2023

In his notice, Cedrel said this was what he had cherished for a long time. Becoming a BLV and a good streamer somewhat too much for him. Accordingly, he made a decision to focus on one thing instead of two things at the same time.

“Trying to maintain both things that made me exhausted and stressed, making me feel like I had to work continuously so long that everything started to become too endurance,” Cedrel wrote.

“It has influenced my work in both areas as well as personal life and I neglected it for too long. Just doing BLV and making streamer has become too hard for me.

Cedrel was born in 1996 and used to be a professional player, competing in the jungle and mid lane position. In his career, he used to wear famous teams in Europe such as Giants Gaming, H2K-Gaming, Schalke 04, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Excel. After the competition, Caedrel decided to switch to LEC's BLV.

With extensive knowledge thanks to the years of professional competition, Caedrel has emerged as the leading BLV of LEC. The culmination of his BLV career is to comment on the finals of Worlds 2022 with Kobe and Captainflowers, when Drx won 3-2 T1 to win the championship. Accordingly, Caedrel acknowledged that this is one of the biggest achievements in his career.
