T1 recruits the best young talent in North America

On his personal page, former coach Nick 'LS' De Cesare confirmed that Gryffinn tried with many teams in LCK in this summer before joining T1. 3 weeks ago, LS himself confirmed that a young player was organized by an organization at LCK. Accordingly, LS described Gryffinn's joining T1 as “one of the happiest moments” in his electronic sports career.

Gryffinn was only 17 years old in June. After coming to Korea on June 21, Gryffinn immediately attracted attention to many teams in LCK even though he did not know the native language, communicating with other players through Ping, basic English and words used in all regions.

“I feel that this will be the first time we have a non -Korean player who can promote and appear in LCK,” LS said.

Gryffinn has only been playing since 2022, wearing two semi -specialized teams as No Team and CCG Esports. Earlier, Gryffinn topped the challenge challenge in North America with 1,852 points.

Joining the youth team of T1 can help Gryffinn play in the Challengers, thereby seeking opportunities on LCK. In the last 2023 season, young talent Yoon 'Poby' Seong-won was launched LCK after only 2 months of joining the T1 Academy team, when Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok took a break due to injury.
