“After winning JDG, my emotions were not defeating the opponent but instead, I felt grateful because we were able to play a good match with such a good experience,” Faker said.
“I don't need to express such gestures. This is just my feelings at that moment, not a sports spirit or anything.”
Following that, Faker also opened the motivation to help himself keep the fire with League of Legends after many years. “I really hate failure. I always enjoy the feeling of playing with the best players, this is my joy,” Faker said. “And during that journey, this thought helped me improve my performance. It helped me continue to move forward.”
“It is through the training and competition in the tournament, I have had more opportunities to make progress as a player, and I am extremely grateful for this,” Faker emphasized.
The final between T1 vs Weibo Gaming will take place at 15:00 on November 19 (Hanoi time). The venue for the finals of Worlds 2023 is at Gocheok Sky Dome (Seoul).
