ZEfa has played professionally in the period of 2013-2014, taking the position of the gunner of Najin White Shield and Najin E-Mfire. After the competition, Zefa moved to the coach, used to lead Kongdoo Monster (2016 & 2017), Afreeca Freecs (2018), SKT T1 (2019), Damwon (2020), T1 (2021) and DK (2022).
During the time working at SKT T1, coach Zefa won 2 LCK and Summer LCK 2019. After joining Damwon in 2020, coach Zefa and coach Daeny helped the LCK championship team in the summer of 2020 and the World Championship 2020. In early 2021, coach Zefa and coach Daeny moved to T1 after having successfully made it at Dammar. However, T1 fired into Zefa and Daeny coach in mid -July 2021 for internal issues.
After leaving T1, coach Zefa returned to lead DK in the 2022 season. However, DK's achievement was only the Top 5 Worlds 2022.
Before bringing Zefa coach, DK decided to break up the entire coaching staff including the coach Acorn (Cheon-Ju Choi), coach Gorilla (Beom-hyeon Kang) and analyst Jay (Jang-Hee Lee).
