Canna joined DK in the 2023 season after leaving NS Redforce. Earlier, the upper line of the 2000 was also worn by T1 and won the 2020 LCK Championship.
However, after leaving T1 and in turn wearing NS Redforce and DK, Canna did not win any title. In Worlds 2023, Canna and DK could not win tickets to the quarterfinals and ranked in the top 9. Accordingly, DK decided not to sign a new contract with Canna.
“We respect the decisions of the players who have chosen to trigger the free state and will always appreciate the memories that have been in the same team, motivated by passion and high hope,” DK wrote.
“We would like to thank the fans for all their enthusiastic support in 2023. And we will work tirelessly to bring you new historical moments in 2024.”
Before Canna, DK said goodbye to Canyon and Deft stars. Besides, DK also ended the contract with the trio of coach Acorn (Cheon-ju Choi), coach Gorilla (Beom-hyeon Kang) and analyst Jay (Jang-Hee Lee)
