“If the other Dplus does not renew the contract, I will take a break from the competition. I never thought that I would play in any other shirt,” Showmaker shared after renewing the contract until 2026 with DK.
“Until the competition, I will always be DK's person. It will be disappointing if the name Showmaker is not DK. Everything has been and will always be like that.”
Showmaker emphasized: “I have a great love for the team.
Showmaker has been with DK since the team was established in 2017. In his career, he and DK and DK took turns to win the LCK Summer 2020, Worlds 2020, Kespa Cup 2020, LCK Spring and Summer 2021. Besides, the 2000 player also won the runner -up MSI 2021 and Worlds 2021.
In the last 2023 season, DK did not win any title and only ranked the top 9 in Worlds 2023. However, Showmaker continues to commit the future with DK with a 3 -year contract instead of leaving in the form of free transfer.
