JD Gaming broke up with Knight Star

“After the friendly negotiations and on the basis of respect for individuals and players between Knight, the team officially broke up,” JD Gaming confirmed on the homepage.

“As a pillar in the 2023 campaign, excellent competitions, and the three titles will forever exist in JDG's history book. We appreciate Knight's contribution and wish him success.”

Knight joined JDG in the 2023 season. Here, he won 3 consecutive titles including LPL Spring 2023, MSI 2023 and LPL Summer 2023. In Worlds 2023 recently, Knight and JDG failed 1-3 before T1 in the semi-finals and top 4 final.

In the past, Knight also played the Young Miracles youth team, before moving to Suning and Top Esports. Accordingly, Knight used to win the Mid-SEASON Cup 2020, LPL in the summer of 2020, Demacia Cup 2021, top 4 Worlds 2020 and Top 10 Worlds 2022.

Knight's next stop has not been revealed. Meanwhile, it is likely that JDG will bring Yagao back to the team.
