On September 29, 2021, Toyz was captured by police in Taichung District (Taipei China) for trafficking in marijuana. In addition, the Procuracy of Taichung District prosecuted Toyz with 6 crimes, including drug trafficking.
Marijuana is classified as illegal drug type 2 in Taipei China. According to Naver Sports, police found marijuana in Toyz's apartment, and found evidence that he intended to distribute drugs.
In January 2022, Toyz was released on bail when paying a fine of 1.5 million new radio. Meanwhile, according to Taipei Drug Prevention Law of China, traders will face a 7 -year prison sentence and a heavy fine of up to 5 million new radio.
On December 6, the North China Supreme Court decided to reject Toyz's appeal. Accordingly, the 4 -year prison sentence with Toyz will be kept. In the judgment, Toyz spent nearly 20,000 USD to buy marijuana buds. At the same time, Toyz also requires members of the gang to hire a seller of 200 marijuana buds and agree to split profits in half. However, Toyz still has the right to appeal before the final judgment was made.
In the past, Toyz used to be a professional League of Legends player and was dubbed the “mid -line monster”. He was even a factor to bring Taipei Assassins to the World Championship season 2 with Bebe, Stanley, Lilballz and Mistake.
After leaving Taipei Assassins in June 2013, Toyz moved to lead Fnatic in a short time and then returned to a professional competition for Hong Kong Esports but did not win any title. In September 2016, Toyz decided to retire when suffering from the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. After retiring, Toyz held the management positions/director positions in Raise Gaming, Stinga and G-Rex teams in the 2016-2019 period and then switched to streamer and Youtuber.
