“I was contacted by other teams at the same time and after talking to Becker, I felt like I really wanted to receive challenges. I think I am the type of person who wants to seize every opportunity or challenge to me.”

Rekkles continued: “When I was in Karmine Corp in 2022, I was worried about the tournament leadership and the bad attitude of some other teams. But in Korea, you do not need to worry about it because all the teams are LCK teams and behave very professionally.”

Before joining T1, Rekkles did not play during the summer of 2023. Accordingly, the Swedish player ended the contract with Fnatic and shifted from the role of the gunner to assistance. The decision to move into a supporting role came from the fact that he felt that he had reached the threshold that no matter how hard he tried, he could not improve even more.

“My dream scenario with the change of position is that if I can play anywhere in the world, it will be T1 in Korea. Although in the Challengers team, I have a lot to devote as supporting,” Rekkles said.

“I am older and more experienced than other players but here I'm a rookie. I have only played for 7 months. I think I need to play in the best area and meet the strongest teams to improve.”

Rekkles used to be the legendary gunner of Fnatic in particular and the European League of Legends in general. In his career, the Swedish player has 9 years of Fnatic, won 4 European championships, participated in MSI 2018 and attended 6 World Final 2014-2017-2018-2019-2020.
