8 teams participated in VCS Spring 2024 including gram of eSports, team Whales, Cerberus, Team Secret, Vikings Esports, Team Flash, MGN Box Esports and Rainbow Warriors. Currently, Esports is the defending team of the tournament. Besides, all teams have also closed the squad to attend VCS Spring 2024.
The 2024 VCS group stage will take place within 8 weeks. Here, 8 teams will play in the circle format, two goes – return, determining the results by BO3.
After the end of the group stage, 6 teams with the best achievement will win the right to play the championship play-off round. The Spring VCS Championship 2024 will earn 400 million VND, along with the ticket to attend MSI 2024.
At MSI 2024, Vietnam will have a representative competing from the start -up round like LLA (Latin America), CBLOL (Brazil) and PCS (Asia – Pacific). Meanwhile, the LPL (China) and LCK (South Korea) will certainly have two seed teams participating in the play-off round. In addition, the MSI 2024 Play-off round will also have the presence of the No. 1 seed team from Europe (LEC) and LCS (North America).
The MSI 2024 championship team will certainly get a ticket to Worlds 2024 and count as an additional capacity for their area. The second most good achievement in MSI 2024 will receive an extra seed. To ensure that the team with Worlds 2024 will still try to play in the domestic tournament, they have to enter the summer play-off round of their regional tournament (except Europe).
