With a total bonus of up to 1 million USD, equivalent to 23 billion VND, AIC 2021 deserves to be the most awaited tournament in the remaining period of 2021. To compare, this is a bonus that is twice as much as AIC 2020 and nearly 8 times the winter of 2021.
Recently, the list of 14 teams attending AIC 2021 has officially revealed. Accordingly, the representative of Vietnam region is the 3 elite faces including Saigon Phantom, V Gaming and Team Flash. Taipei China has the new King GCS Hong Kong Attitude, One Team and the reigning champion AIC Mad Team. Meanwhile, three teams from Thailand are the current champion AWC DTAC Talon, Valencia CF Esports, Buriram United Esports.
In addition to the above -mentioned giants, AIC 2021 will also welcome familiar names in international tournaments, Archangel (Indonesia), Underank (MSP area including Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines) and Olympus team (Korea). With my experience, these are teams that can create a surprise.
The drawing ceremony of the AIC Table 2021 will take place immediately after the Winter 2021 winter final between SGP and VGM closed. 14 teams will be divided into 2 groups with each table with a maximum of 2 teams in the same area so it will not be surprising if the “death table” appears again.
AIC 2021 officially started on November 27. The group stage will take place from November 27 to December 5. After that, to the quarterfinals (December 9 to 12) and then semi -final (December 17 to December 18). The final will be held on December 19.
