AIC (Arena of Valor International Champion) 2021 will be the most noticeable event of the Mobile Union in the end of the year, after all domestic championships ended. This international tournament brings together 14 best teams in the world, from 8 regions and has a total bonus of up to 1 million USD, equivalent to 23 billion VND.
Immediately after the final of the 2021 Winter Fame Arena with the victory, the name of Saigon Phantom, the drawing ceremony of the table took place. Because 14 teams are divided into 2 groups, each table has a maximum of 2 teams in the same area, so the “death table” will appear is nothing surprising.
The two golden hope of the Vietnam Mobile Union, Tan Vuong DTDV, Saigon Phantom will have to meet the Flash team right from the group stage. Along with the two representatives of Vietnam, creating a “death table” is the new champion of Taipei China, Hong Kong Attitude as well as the runner -up of this area, One Team. Not to be missed is the presence of Thai runner -up, Valencia CF Esports. Archangel of Indonesia and Underank from MSP (Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines) are also very familiar names.
Contrary to the two teams of compatriots, V Gaming is full of opportunities to recruit when falling into Group A. This is a group with the participation of three “wild beasts” including the reigning AWC champion and Tan King Thailand DTAC Talon, the reigning champion Aic Mad Team and Thai big man Buriram United Esports. However, the remaining 3 opponents are very “pleasant”. It is Team Olympus (Korea), Sports (Japan) and All Gamers (China).

In terms of formula, the teams will compete in a circle of BO2 forbidden to choose internationally in the group stage, of which 1 2-0 victory is 3 points, 1-1 draw is 1 point and lose 0-2 without points. 4 teams with the highest score each table will enter the quarterfinals, where the winning – losing branch of Bo5. From the quarterfinals of the winning branch onwards will be Bo7.
AIC 2021 officially started on November 27. The group stage will take place from November 27 to December 5. After that, to the quarterfinals (December 9 to 12) and then semi -final (December 17 to December 18). The final will be held on December 19.
