Recently, James Yang – Global Esports Director of Level Infinite, Tencent Games, announced the Electronic Sports Roadmap of PUBG Mobile in 2025, including information related to the global and regional PUBG tournament.

The first is the return of PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), the first global tournament in 2025, taking place at Tashkent, Uzbekistan from April 12 to April 13. With a total bonus of 500,000 USD (estimated at 12.5 billion VND), the event will also apply the new SMASH RULS, which was introduced at 2025 PMSL Sea Spring.
James Yang shared: “When a team reaches 80 points and won Chicken Dinner in any remaining match, they will become the champion of 2025 PMGO. If no team won under Smash Rule, the team with the highest score after 12 matches will win the championship.”


Similar to 2025 PMSL Sea Spring, Smash Rule format promises to help the 2025 PMGO tournament enhance the competitiveness of each match as well as help the audience experience the Esports atmosphere more passionate and emotional, when the thrill waits for the final results of the PUBG Mobile teams they love.
Currently, the 2025 PMGO tournament has confirmed the participation of 8/16 PUBG Mobile teams in the world at the Main Event period, including:
1. Nigma Galaxy (representative No. 1 in the Middle East – Africa)
2. Influence Rage (representative No. 1 in North America)
3. 4Merical vibes (representative No. 1 in Central – South Asia)
4. RecNum Carya Esports (Representative No. 1 in Europe)
5. D'Xavier (Southeast Asia PMSL champion)
6. Nongshim Redforce (Korean Pro Series champion)
7. Reject (Japanese qualifying team)
8. LGD Gaming (representative No. 1 in China)
The remaining 8 teams will be determined after the qualifying round of 2025 PMGO. In particular, the champion of 2025 PMGO will win an additional capacity for its region at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025, under the framework of the 2025 Esports World Cup.

At the same time, in 2025, PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) will expand into 5 regions: Southeast Asia (SEA), Central-South Asia (CSA), America (Americas), Middle East & North Africa (Mena) and Europe (EU). The separation of PMSL EMEA into European PMSL and PMSL Mena promises to help increase the chances of PUBG Mobile teams in the region. The number of PMSL qualifiers has also been raised to 29 tournament, helping all PUBG Mobile players worldwide have the opportunity to play Esports and affirm their talents.
Particularly at PMSL SEA, PUBG Mobile Vietnam has 3 teams participating in the standing, D'Xavier, Team Secret and MGN Viking Esports, according to the partner program. D'Chavier is also the PMSL Sea champion in the spring of 2025, helping Vietnam Electronic Sports regain its leading position.
Another new feat If achieving high achievements, players from the community can fully win the regional and international PUBG Mobile tournaments, showing their skills and expanding their career.
In addition, PUBG Mobile will also invest heavily in the tournament of a third party organization, contests for commentators and content creation events to promote the global electronic sports ecosystem of PUBG Mobile this year. The Esports 2025 route will end with the 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (2025 PMGC) in Thailand.
