T1 was eliminated from MSI 2024 after a unfortunate loss 2-3 against Bilibili Gaming (BLG). In this match, the LCK representative, although being continuously led by BLG before game 1 and 3, could still be equalized to bring the match to game 5. However, T1 still received a final defeat in game 5, thereby being eliminated from the tournament. This is the second consecutive time T1 stopped at 3rd rank at MSI after the defeat before the BlG itself in last year.
Immediately after the defeat in the final of BLG, Gumayusi received an interview with Dexerto to share the match and journey of T1 at MSI 2024.
