P1na: 'The goal of the Big Baam team is to become the next champion at Sea Play-Off'

– Hello P1na, you can introduce yourself to the readers of the readers Thethao.vn?

Hello everyone, I am Nguyen Nam with the name In-Game is P1NA. Currently, I am playing in the shirt of Big Baam team with the control role (controller).

– What predestined relationship brought you to Baam?

I and my teammates have been playing together for a long time, namely when the whole team plays CSGO. Until the game Valorant was released, the members had been attached to them together. Previously, the name of the team was QQQ Hasagi, then Steal Your Glory and now Big Baam team.

P1Na has caught a career with CSGO before moving to Valorant.

– Up to this point, what is your most memorable memory and Baam?

My most memorable memory is when the new team is founded. At that time, I and Mr. Ngo “Crazyguy” Cong Anh moved from Hanoi to Gaming House in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh to live.

At first, I was very surprised with this new city. Besides, in the first tournament to play with the full squad, the team won the championship of Eternal Valorant Tournament. I feel very proud of everyone.

– What is your emotions after VCT: Sea Stage 3 Challengers Play-off closed?

I feel very happy and proud of myself as well as my teammates. Because, the members tried their best to go so far, and brought a little glory to the Vietnamese FPS. However, I also have a bit of regret when losing Bren Esports with a narrow score.

– Compared to the stage 2, what do you think you have improved the points in this stage 3?

In Stage 2, I did not get a good shape. On the other hand, the losses have made their psychology uncomfortable, leading to unnecessary results.

However, I went to Stage 3, I tried a lot, practicing day and night and practicing more Sunday. Thanks to that, I was able to achieve stable performance as well as stable psychology to enter VCT: Vietnam Stage 3 Challengers 1 and win the championship with unbeaten record.

– You are considered as one of the best final players Sea Play-off and create a lot of clutch phase. What do P1na think about this idea?

The audience only saw that, in fact at Sea Play-off, there are more experienced “monsters” and creating more clutches than themselves. The reason, I have a lot of good final handling is because I have practiced a lot to get today. Perhaps because I have played with psychology, there is nothing to lose and resonate a bit of luck (laugh).

The guy from Hanoi is one of the best controlers of Valorant Vietnam.

– You seem to prioritize Astra. Is this the choice of team tactics or simply P1Na master Astra the most?

In my opinion, Astra is a very strong agent right from the launch in Valorant and I have practiced a lot with this agent. On average, I shoot more than 10 single ratings and only play Astra so it is very convenient. Currently, Astra is stronger than conventional control agents like Omen or Brimstone.

– According to P1NA, where is Astra's power and what is different from other control agents?

In my opinion, Astra is a agent that can both play the role of Lurker (finally in the attacks of the home team, control the opponent), and can help the teammates from afar thanks to smoke bombs, suction skills and stun.

Astra can create a lot of mutant situations in a game. Unlike Omen, this agent must go with teammates to release blind skills. With Brimstone, this agent also works with 3 smoke bombs. Meanwhile, Astra has 5 balls with different effects to support teammates.

– If you have to choose a agent other than Astra to regularly bring in the matches, who will choose who and why?

I think maybe Omen. Because, I feel that Omen is still more mobility than Brimstone, situations that perform blind skills, using Omen's movement skills are still easier to create mutations.

– Pursuing a professional valorant career, is P1NA aiming to? If so, who is that person?

I always aimed at a member of Sentinels (the current number one team) is Jared “Zombs” Gitlin. This is the one who inspired me to play Astra in the most perfect way.

– A lot of people confuse the year of birth and your in-game name in Stage 2. So what is the meaning of the name P1Na2K4?

The name P1Na2K4 has been used since I was playing CSGO with friends. It is not the year of birth or an Elo that ranks single, simply when the internet shops are still open, they and a close friend play with each other to put such a name. My friend named 2k3, and I put 2k4, just so simple (laugh).

– Baam's most difficult match at VCT: What match is Sea Stage 3 Challengers?

It was probably the match against Bren Esports. This is a very strong team and Baam had the training sessions with BRN. Despite winning, losing, but their play is extremely methodical and the hands of the members on the BRN side are really “big”.

In addition, Baam also had difficulties because BRN was the team moving from CSGO to Valorant. They have been playing together for a long time, and possessing the ability to coordinate in a certain aspect is as perfect as you have seen.

The recent Sea Play-off is the tournament that marks the outstanding maturity of P1NA.

– What is the psychology of the Baam players after the defeat of Bren Esports in the winning branch, especially when you have twice dragged the opponent into the Over-Time series?

The whole team felt very sad and extremely regretful after the match-point was not to take advantage of success. Baam's spirit has more or less went down after the defeat against Bren Esports.

– When encountering Alter Ego, a network incident appeared and made the match postponed. What did you and your teammates do in the waiting period?

The incident of the Alter Ego members has slowed down. The team woke up very early to heat hands, but when the incident occurred Baam had to wait and watch the match between Bren Esports and Paper Rex. So, that leads to the feeling of being “drifting” when the match gets back again.

– In the Split map against Alter Ego, Baam seemed to have lost advantage too quickly and lost quite quickly. According to P1Na, what is the cause of Baam's defeat in that match?

I think partly because of the psychology after losing to Bren Esports. It feels unfortunate when Baam lost match 1 in the Ascent map against Alter Ego. Because, the whole team is in hand but is postponed.

– Which player are you most impressed with at VCT: Sea Stage 3 Challengers Play-off this time?

I am really impressed with the Dubstep of Bren Esports. Currently, he is 28 years old but still plays as Duelist (confronted) and extremely prominent. DubStep has achieved perfect performance to BRN to win the Sea Play-off championship, and win the ticket to Masters 3 in Berlin. It is true that the older the ginger, the more spicy.

– According to P1NA, will Bren Esports and Paper Rex have the opportunity to make a surprise at Masters 3?

In my opinion, both Bren Esports as well as Paper Rex can completely create a surprise. Because, they have experienced and excellent players such as Dubstep, Borkum, F0rsaken or D4V4i.

P1na and Baam are looking for big titles in the near future.

– What is the current goal of P1NA and Baam?

Currently, their goals and Baam are continuing to practice to be able to bring Vietnam FPS background, Dong can become the next Sea Play-off champion. Yes, then it will be the world championship (laugh).

– According to P1NA, where is Valorant Vietnam in Southeast Asia?

I think we are in the top of Southeast Asia. You can see, Baam can hold the championship team last season, the X10 Esports team or can beat the Top 2 team as the full Sense of Thailand. Therefore, we can confidently say that Valorant Vietnam is in the top.

– A message to Baam's fans?

First, I apologized to you for letting your feet in the match against Alter Ego and unable to win the ticket to Berlin. But here, it will be the motivation for us to continue and will definitely do it in the future.

Thank you to your fans in particular and the Big Baam team in general, hope everyone will continue to accompany, support the team and Baam will not make you disappointed.

– Thanks P1na for the sharing session!
