The 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship tournament (referred to as 2024 PMGC) organized by Krafton, Level Infinite and VSPO organized, announcing the starting time from October 31 – December 8. This is the largest and highest -class event in the electronic sports competition system of PUBG Mobile, because of the fierce competitive nature and a super -terrible total prize of up to 3,000,000 USD (approximately more than 75 billion VND). The IHC Esports team is currently the championship of the tournament.
2024 PMGC also marked the first time the tournament was held in Europe, with Grand Finals taking place on December 6 – 08.12 at the London Exhibition Center, UK. Thereby, showing the ambition and vision of BTC in bringing PMGC images in particular and PUBG Mobile Esports is more approachable than the audience in Europe, the area with the most developed sports background worldwide. The city of London in 2024 was also a favorite meeting place for many world -class eSports events.
After 4 successful seasons, PMGC continues to be one of the most prestigious events of global electronic sports, attracting millions of annual audiences, and the largest stage for the best PUBG Mobile players to show their skills, talents and bravery. At 2023 PMGC earlier, the tournament attracted nearly 1 million viewers at the same time and recorded a total of more than 31 million hours to see on all platforms.
This year, the 2024 PMGC tournament brings together 49 leading PUBG Mobile teams in the world, including the best representatives from Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Middle East and many large areas around the globe. In particular, the Esports Guild will be the representative of the United Kingdom host and have a straight at Grand Finals. 3 Vietnamese representatives competing at 2024 PMGC will include D'Xavier, Getso Roy Esports and Team Secret, after impressive performances at the previous 2024 PMSL Sea Fall tournament.
Competition format 2024 PMGC is as follows:
– League round: Play from October 31 – November 24 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, including 3 stages
+ Group Stage: 31.10 – November 17
48 teams are divided equally in 3 groups
Each table will play 1 week, with a total of 24 matches
Each week includes 4 days of competition (Thursday – Sunday) with 6 matches/day
3 teams with the highest achievement each group will have the Grand Finals
Teams from Top 4 – Top 11 will attend Survival Stage
+ Survival Stage: 20.11 – November 22
24 teams are divided equally in 3 groups
Each table will play 6 matches/day with a total of 18 matches in the circle format
The 16 teams with the highest achievement will attend Last Chance
8 teams with the lowest ranking will be eliminated
+ Last Chance: 23.11 – November 24
16 teams will play 12 matches
The 6 teams with the highest achievement will have the Grand Finals
– Grand Finals: Play from December 6 – December 8 in London, UK
16 teams will play 18 matches in 3 days
Guild Esports – The United Kingdom's host team has the capacity to go straight to the Grand Finals
The team with the highest achievement after the Grand Finals will be honored with the world champion PUBG Mobile and receive a bonus of 400,000 USD (approximately 10 billion VND)
