– Hello Thao Tran, can you introduce a little bit about yourself and the predestined implementation of the Agent Takeover project of Valorant in Vietnam just now?
I am Thao Tran, the Creative Content Lead position and in charge of the Creative section of the Skye Takeover campaign of Valorant Vietnam.

Skye Takeover is one of the Global Agent Takeover campaigns to honor the origin of the agents, both to promote the game and outline the cultures as well as the personality of the agents in Valorant to be close and realistic.
– Why did you choose Skye agent as ambassador for Vietnam?
The predestined Skye agent chosen to represent Vietnam is also quite interesting and special. Originally, any countries that have been available from the agent have come from that, they often … Instalock right away, so the remaining agents are limited and including Skye.
Then when I passed through and thought thoroughly, I realized that Skye had a very suitable style for Vietnam, with the most visible impression from the color of costumes and skills. In fact, I am also somewhat hesitant because if unfortunately the concept of Skye is not as suitable as I expect, everything will be quite complicated and more difficult. But then, I decided to eat, where falling there twice there.
– The process that you and the team help Skye agent “adapt” to the context of Vietnam have advantages or difficulties?
Initially when implementing ideas and concepts is quite fast and convenient. Perhaps the shape of Skye was inherently a great inspiration, so when I came up with the idea, I thought of the green of the hills and Vietnamese landscapes.
As far as I find out, Skye also has a relatively liberal personality, likes to travel and explore, so I think of Skye's 1 -day Vietnam -day travel vlog because the Vlog concept is also quite popular. After that, I discussed the places for Skye for the New Year trip, accompanied by the implications behind those choices to fit the Skye's one -day movement schedule.
You can clearly see this from the notification of the Skye landing, to the morning coffee in Hanoi and then in a wheelchair, across the provinces and cities nationwide. And finally a Vlog video with the idea of using 4 Skye tricks to metaphor for messages for Vietnamese and international friends. Riot himself is also extremely excited with this idea.
The most time -consuming stitching is also the most difficult thing that I think is hand -drawn. Because we want to sketch Skye in a real scene instead of using 3D render. The team of artists also spent quite a bit of time including holidays to be able to complete the drawings and artwork in the video. At the same time, we also have to fix a lot of upsking according to Riot's feedback, so this stage must be said as going on the fire, because a detail to repair will make the whole stage return from the beginning.

– How long did you and the team take to implement this project, bringing Skye to many locations across Vietnam?
This project lasts about 2 months calculating the selection of agents, ideas, browsing ideas and production. And fortunately everything is in time and complete for the campaign to happen smoothly.
– What is the message you want to send to the Valorant community through this project?
The message that is most entrusted is in the Vlog video. If everyone noticed that Skye would have applied 4 moves in different situations. With the Q, Skye summoned a Tasmania tiger who was the first scene that everyone saw, at that time there was another tiger running in parallel with the implication of opening a year of Nham Dan with Skye, as well as with Valorant on this one -day trip.
The next scene will be a C, when Skye recalls flowers in the scenery of Vietnamese cities. In this part, I actually thought for a long time to honor a resilient Vietnam after a long time to cope with the pandemic, undergoing many losses and then recovering and “reviving”, so I integrated with this technique of Skye.
Not to mention, you will see before performing the technique, each location will have a bleak dark color, and then become vivid when the petals of Skye bloom, is also the way we integrate it.

Next will be the E, a familiar technique to the Valorant community when in the game it is a flares (Flash) to cover people's eyes. At that time, I thought of the fireworks on Tet holiday, and it was time to open a “brilliant” new year for the country.
Finally, the X technique is used to search and identify the target. I thought that “Oh, Tet is also the time when reuniting, connecting.” So I used X moves to “connect” people together, from family, relatives, friends, other relationships, and connecting the Valorant community. Then summarize the tour through the country and end with the PC power button opened, like opening Tet, opening Valorant.
In general, this project is the core of gratitude to the Valorant community that has always been attached and supported to help Valorant develop more, to bring Vietnam closer to international friends, as well as spread a very unique culture. The project is also intended to thank, to send words of encouragement and also send hope to everyone who bravely and resilient after a long time of fighting the disease, and opened a new, brilliant Tet, a more special Tet holiday with Valorant.
– How do you feel when the community reaction is very active and enthusiastically responding to your project?
The words seem to not describe all the joy, pride and happiness in me. Working with Riot in such a big and global campaign, bringing Vietnam very separately into Valorant, for me as a dream come true.
Honestly, I also want to go through this campaign, our country can “show” to international friends that Vietnam is also the place where the Valorant community is strong, also a potential area to develop, so that anyone who knows that Vietnam will have the first agent.
