VCT 2022 Challengers Vietnam – Stage 1 is the opening tournament for the 2022 season, and offers an extremely attractive prize with a total prize value of up to 640 million. Here, the 3 strongest teams will represent Vietnam to attend the APAC Challengers arena. Accordingly, they will compete with other representative teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia/Singapore, Hong Kong/Taiwan, South Asia and Oceania to win tickets to the world arena Valorant Masters.
Time of the tournament:
– The group stage: From February 10 to February 20
– Final round: from February 20 – February 27
Competition format: Online
– The group stage: 16 teams are divided into 4 tables and compete in the formula of the winning branch – the branch loses. Accordingly, the top two teams each group will win the final round.
– The final round: 8 top teams of 4 tables continued to play in the formula of the winning branch – the branch lost to divide the rankings and bonuses.
Prize details:
– Total prize of the tournament: VND 660 million.
– The champion of the tournament will receive a bonus of VND 250 million.
VCT 2022 – Vietnam Stage 1 Challengers is the Esports tournament within the framework of the only official tournament system organized by Riot Games. This is also the highest ranking tournament in the framework of Valorant in Vietnam.
After experiencing 5 qualifying rounds with the presence of more than 700 registered teams, VCT 2022: Vietnam Stage 1 Challengers has identified 16 names to compete for the championship. This is also an opportunity for the 3 -level competition teams to represent Vietnam to compete at the VCT APAC Play -off (Asia -Pacific final round), and accumulate more scores and experience for the next tournaments.
