In 2021, after winning the world championship, many teams wanted to recruit Scout but finally the player at EDG for another year. By the end of the 2022 season, many rumors appeared about Scout and Viper will return to Korea and many sources in LPL, including Doinb, confirmed that these two players will return to LCK.
Scout has run out of contracts with EDG by 2022 but there is still a signed manager contract, though this player still tries to find a way to return to Korea. However, by the end of 2022, when the LCK teams were enough mid lane, Scout turned to play for LNG.
Before the announcement of Scout to join LNG, the EDG owner Edward Zhu revealed: Scout signed a 1+1 contract with EDG at the end of 2020. Zhu wants the whole world championship to play for another year, but Scout has intended to move to another LCK team. By 2023, EDG sued Scout on the contract and that in November of that year, Hanyi (the famous messenger at LPL) revealed that EDG won the case but the requirements were not fully met.
After that, Scout did not pay for EDG and the organization appealed. In April 2024, EDG asked to ban exit with Scout and have been approved. Finally, on September 12, EDG continued to request the second trial.
EDG's manager revealed that this team was contacted and announced by LPL, then LPL also replied that LNG did not know about this ban until two days ago. Supergent tried to appeal to the labor court but was rejected, even the company increased the price of LNG to bring Scout. This manager also stated that this is not the fault of Scout and LNG but by the company.

Currently, Scout, LNG and EDG are forced to reach an agreement to resolve the immigration issue when there are only 2 weeks left, the World Championship takes place. The EDG side is advocating wanting to go to court for compensation, if not successful, the scout will be forced to stay at home to see the world finals, and LNG will have to find a middle line instead. The ability to compensate for scout is not high when this player may leave the team next year.
