NATS and GMB are affected by the political situation

The two most influential teams are Natus Vincere (Ukraine) and Gambit Esports (Russia). According to the schedule announced by the organizers, Natus Vincere and Gambit Esports will meet in the fifth match. With Gambit Esports, the current world runner-up is temporarily ranked 2nd in Group A thanks to the 1-1 record, ranked under Funplus Phoenix.

Natus Vincere has a difference similar to the gambit eSports but behind it due to the loss of the sub -index (+6 compared to +12). VCT 2022: Emea Stage 1 Challengers has a total of 12 teams attending and is divided into 2 tables, each with 6 teams. 6 teams with the best results will enter the play-off round. The two teams leading each table will start the play-off journey from the second round of the winning branch.

The 2nd and 3rd teams will divide the pair to confront each other from the first round of the brake. All matches in the play-off round are the BO3 except the final final (Bo5). 3 teams of championship, runner -up and 3rd place will represent the EMEA area to attend the first Masters of 2022 in April.

Meanwhile, the last two teams in the group stage will be descended to VCT 2022: Emea Challengers Promotion. Here, the leading teams EMEA will compete with the team from Spain, Türkiye, France, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe and teams of Austria – Germany – Switzerland. The team who won the championship will be eligible to participate in Emea's Challengers 2.
