Thao thought this was an honor because it had been a long time ago that a SEA Games took place in Vietnam and I was in charge of 2/8 of the SEA Games 31 electronic sport. These are the national finals and a few tournaments.
However, due to the past years of the disease, FIFA Online 4 tournaments have been quite limited, so everyone rarely saw Thao appear, and I was inherently charming with this game for a long time. FIFA Online 4 is a game considered as “neighbors” of Lien Quan Mobile. When I accepted the invitation to lead the main stage at the 31st SEA Games from the organizers, I thought, “This week accompanies FIFA Online 4, next week, accompanying the Mobile Union, this will definitely help doubling to celebrate”. I really feel honored.
– After about 2 years without leading FIFA Online 4, Phuong Thao has to prepare much to prepare for the 31 SEA Games, in terms of game knowledge or players?
Thao must prepare a lot because the SEA Games is a different event of the events that she has led. I have to find out again about the characteristics of FIFA Online 4, a game that many male friends love. The format of this subject is also completely different from the mobile coalition that I am playing. I also learned about the teams attending, not only Vietnam but also international because at the 31 SEA Games, we welcome many guests and foreign friends.
It is very fortunate that the names of the Vietnamese team 2 years ago, this year is still the No. 1 seed to participate in the 31st SEA Games, with Mr. Maestroz, Cold, Leeharii or Mesut. Those are all names that Thao has met and led 2 years ago so I am not strange. Thao's journey with the Vietnamese team is therefore easier.
– So the pressure on Phuong Thao when I first stood on the SEA Games stage?
It is really very pressure. Before now, Thao has also led many big and small events in many different fields but the SEA Games has never been. The first SEA Games was held in Vietnam, Thao was also a little girl who knew nothing and could not imagine later she would lead the SEA Games stage. Besides, electronic sports are also a new subject appearing at the second SEA Games so everything is still very new, need to listen and learn a lot to be able to coordinate with the organizers. I was very pressured but after all, as long as you have good preparation, it will be somewhat worried.
– After the process of working, Phuong Thao saw FIFA Online 4 and the Mobile Union is different, from the organization, the playground to the audience?
Thao was really surprised when after 2 years, the audience of FIFA Online 4 has greatly increased from the number of online viewers coming directly to cheering the Vietnamese team. Every time a team scored a beautiful goal, the fans were very excited, similar to the appearance of a beautiful fighting phase in the Mobile Union. That is the common point of these two subjects.
On the other hand, FIFA Online 4 is a relay team, so the skill factor and personal imprint are placed very high. Therefore, I immediately remembered impressive names like Mr. Maestroz of Vietnam or the Philippines Jorrel.
The international fans invite each other to the chat channel of FIFA Online 4 Vietnam to monitor, send greetings and accompany the teams is also a very happy signal. The view increased, then the wishes from the fans everywhere made me feel very exciting.
– So Phuong Thao thought that the increasing views also thanks to the MC?
I think that if it happened, it was only a little, and it was still because of the attractiveness and drama of the matches at the 31st SEA Games.
– Personally, Phuong Thao prepared for the 31 SEA Games when taking on the work leading to two subjects?
First, Thao must prepare for time. Despite instructions for each game on 2 weekends, but at the beginning of the week and in the middle of the week, I have to participate in the rehearsal at least 2 times. Besides, I also need to prepare costumes and makeup to make it most harmonious with SEA Games this year because when you are the host country and international friends will look at us.
Especially, when standing on the stage full of pride, Thao will be the face of the host country so I need to be careful from the head of my hair, my pants to the lead to be polished. Besides, I have to learn about the teams, cultivate English to at least chat with foreign teams. Hopefully, when confident enough, Thao will stand on stage to guide bilinguality for electronic sports in Vietnam.
– Thao found work in SEA Games is more difficult and harder than the fame arena?
I think it is more difficult and harder because I have accompanied the six seasons anyway, and the SEA Games is the first time. 19 years ago, the new SEA Games returned to Vietnam, so it was very sacred on the stage. More proud, the pressure is also more and more difficult. The challenge is also an opportunity, so I also … like it.
– How is Thao's working day at the 31st SEA Games?
Electronic sports often play from early afternoon to late evening. The characteristic of electronic sports compared to other sports at the SEA Games is lasting all day and spending a lot of time to compete in the group stage and then semi -finals and finals. Sometimes 20 matches only take place in 2 days so you have to do all the effort.
For example, on the first day of FIFA Online 4, Thao must come early to makeup, meet with the organizers, then have lunch and prepare for the match at 13h. My working day only ends at about 21h, 22h.
