Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2022 will officially start from June 16 with a total prize of up to 2 million US dollars, double AIC 2021. Saigon Phantom is the biggest hope of Mobile Vietnam. Although there is no SEA Games 31 gold medal, “the ghosts of Saigon” are still the No. 1 Vietnamese team at this time with a quality frame and stable performance.
At AIC 2022, Saigon Phantom is in Group B with One Team (Taipei China), Valencia CF Esports (Thailand) and Yalla Esports (Middle East – North Africa). In theory, this is not a difficult group even though One Team is the reigning GCS champion and Valencia CF Esports is like a “phenomenon” of RPL.
According to the schedule, Saigon Phantom will start the journey with Valencia at 15:45 on June 16. On the same day, Lai Bong and his teammates will continue to clash Yalla at 18h45 before closing the first phase with the One Team at 20:15. In phase 2, the Vietnam champion will meet Valencia at 13:30 before the One Team clash at 19:30 on June 18.
In the first phase of the AIC 2022 group stage will take place in the format of the circle, taking the top 3 teams each to step to phase 2. The matches in phase 2 will be played in the BO2 format, in which the result is 2-0 will bring 3-point win, draw 1 point and lose 0 points.
