The Asia -Pacific Regional Qualifier III (also referred to as the largest Esports Tactical Cup) is the APAC area of the Dharma Arena (CLC) season 12. Similar to the tactical Cup I and II, the event continues to gather 128 leading players from 8 areas in the form of online competition. In addition to the title of the championship, the players will be aimed at the goal of winning 4 of the APAC regional finals called the great shovel and part of the total bonus of 12,500 USD (approximately VND 310 million).
Tactical Cup III will have the presence of 42 Vietnamese players in Vietnam. In particular, there are 16 players from the Vietnam qualifying round, 18 players with the highest score on the Ladder Snapshots rankings and 8 players who win the community tournaments. Vietnam is also the area with the largest number of candidates registered in the qualifiers and accounts for 1/3 of the number of competitions competing in the tactical Cup III. Earlier at the II Tactical Cup, the highest achievement of the players from Vietnam was the runner -up of P1VA.
Tactical Cup competition format III:
Day 1 (October 18): 6 matches
+ 128 players were divided into 18 lobby and played the first 4 matches
+112 The player with the highest achievement after 4 matches will play the remaining 2 matches in the day
+ Every 2 matches, the group will be reorganized based on the Swiss score system
+ 64 players with the highest achievement after match 6 will play on Monday
Day 2 (October 19):
+ 64 players playing a total of 6 matches
+ Every 2 matches, the group will be reorganized based on the Swiss score system
+ 32 players with the highest achievement after match 6 will play on the 3rd day
– Day 3 (October 20):
+ 32 players playing 5 matches
+ Every 2 matches, the group will be reorganized based on the Swiss score system
+ 16 players with the highest total achievement after 5 matches will play match 6
+ 8 players with the highest total achievement after 6 matches will play match 7
+ 4 players with the highest achievement after 7 matches will win the APAC regional finals – the great shovel
+ The player with the highest achievement will win the Tactical Cup III and 3000 USD bonuses
