Nitr0 is not the only new addition of the M80 before the 2024 season. In addition to Nitr0, M80 has also recruited Evil Genisus's reserve player Brendan “BCJ” Jensen, to combine with the framework of “Koalanoob” Potestio, Marc-Andre “Nisco” “Zander” Zander “Zander” Zander.

The 2024 season will be divided into 2 separate stages, bringing a series of competitive competitions starting from January as well as creating conditions for teams to participate in the Ascension tournament in September.

When Challengers started in January, most tournaments will hold an open qualifying. Meanwhile, there will be other tournaments to welcome familiar teams back from the 2023 season. Each stage will end with the play-off round, to find the best teams in the season.

In 2024, Riot Games will launch the first promotion and relegation event between the Challengers and Premier teams at the end of phase 1. Accordingly, the Premier teams will compete together to have the opportunity to confront the Challengers teams and take part in phase 2 of the Challengers season.

Following the Ascension 2024 tournament in September is the Challengers 2025 season that will start in October. The starting time will help Riot Games reduce the empty time in the schedule, and still give the Ascension championship teams enough time to prepare for the international tournament for the international tournament
