Recently, we have announced the plan to eliminate the promotion chain in season 3. After comparing the purpose of increasing the competitiveness of the promotion chain with data on the level of interaction and player skills, we realize that this system is not really useful for players.
At low ranking levels, the main reason for players to give up climbing is because they lose in the promotion series. Perhaps because players value the promotion chain more than normal matches, so losing in the promotion series makes them feel depressed and do not want to play again.
As for high ranking, players who win in the promotion often tend to stop climbing more. The reason may be because the player has a high ranking that does not want to be released to the Luc Bao and must participate in the promotion chain again after overcoming many difficulties to promote. When the promotion chain is removed, the player will have more motivation to continue playing after reaching the diamond class, because they know that if they miss the rank, they only need to win a few matches to regain the same class.
Overall, we found that the promotion series in the speed of battle is now more nuisance and frustration than helping the player. We will continue to monitor the fair competition and interactive quality of the ranking mode.
Typically, we assess fair competitiveness based on the level of the rankings with the player's skills and actual achievements recorded in the database. Temporarily we haven't seen the above changes will cause any imbalance, but if any, we will find solutions to experience the ranking and competitive ranking.
Why are there only 3 banned champions instead of 5?
Hello, I am Ed “MartianSpider” Knapp, the game design team leader for the overall system of the Chien Chien. I would like to share with you about the features that many people expect – the system of banning generals in the line waiting.

We believe that the competitive tournament will become the most complete when there is a system of banning champions, which is ideal for 10 banned turns. However, due to the current number of generals, we are concerned that the overall 10 bans will make the majority of the generals that the favorite players are completely banned, making the matches less attractive.
We have mentioned the launch of the Prohibition System, of which each team has 1 or 2 banned turns. However, this will be annoyed because only a few players in the match have the right to ban the general. This is the cause of improper behavior in the matches and we don't want anyone to go through that. Therefore, we decided to apply 3 banned turns.
From now on, most players in every match have the opportunity to ban the generals they do not like or the overwhelming generals they do not want to clash. As soon as the list of generals is sufficient, we will deploy a system of 10 banned in each match.
In addition, we also change some other aspects to support the forbidden feature. Specifically, changing the requirements of the number of generals to be owned to participate in the ranking. To participate in the ranking line, from now on, the player must own 16 generals, including the free rotating champion. This is to ensure that no match will be canceled because the entire general of the player is banned.

Initially, we only intended to increase the number of mandatory generals to 16 (excluding free swinging champions), but this will make players have a ranking rank that cannot be ranked after the update is released, but we do not want to leave anyone.

Other changes
We want to simplify the display of rules for ranking. Currently, the “energy” part has not clearly shown whether the “anti -loss” of the player is promoting effectively or not. The screen ending the new updated match will overcome this problem. Players can also easily track their progress thanks to other optimized details, such as diamond umbrellas arranged from left to right.
