In China, Edward Gaming continued to win the championship after defeating Funplus Phoenix 3-1. Arriving at the EMEA area, Fnatic returned to the throne when he won 3-2 against the Heretics team. Besides, 4 Paper Rex, EDG, FNATIC and 100T teams are 4 regional seed teams and are in the play-off round. The remaining 8 teams are also divided into pairs to compete in the Swiss round.
VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 started from 23/5-10/6 in China. Since this tournament, Riot Games decided to switch to Swiss format with 8 teams to select 4 teams to continue. These No. 1 seed teams will be randomly drawn to decide the selection of the team at the Play-off. The tournament championship will receive accumulated points to determine the ticket to attend Valorant Champions 2024 in Korea in August.
