Since the establishment of the Valorant team, Drx has always been rated as one of the strongest teams in Asia. In addition, the team has the cohesion when Buzz, Stax, RB, Zest and Mako played together during the 2022 and 2023 season. However, after unable to go far in international tournaments, the DRX began to change personnel before the 2024 season.
First, Zest and RB were eliminated from the main squad in December 2023, then RB to play for Titan Esports Club in China, and Zest joined Bleed. Next, printing Game Leader Stax was also eliminated from the squad after the DRX failed at VCT Pacific Stage 1, and did not win tickets to the last two Masters events in Madrid and Shanghai.
According to the notice from Drx, Stax will be allowed to search for a new team before the VCT Pacific Stage 2. However, it is not clear who will take on the role of Stax in the squad, while Stage 2 is only 2 weeks to start. Currently, the remaining Drx squad Buzz, Mako, Foxy9 and Beyn.
In 2 years of playing for Drx, Stax's most noticeable achievement is to help the third-class team at Valorant Champions 2022, and was honored as the year of the Leader Game of the Year by VCT Pacific award in 2023. In Stage 1, Stax and unbeaten teammates in the group stage with a record of 5-0, though to the Play-Office round, they were quickly eliminated after 2 matches against 1-2 match against Paper Rex and Geng.
