Information about the Southeast Asian Championship 2021
21 best teams from the 2021 autumn SEA Series system will appear in the 2021 Southeast Asian War Championship. Teams from 8 regions of Southeast Asia include: Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Taipei China and Hong Kong will compete with the championship of the tournament with a total prize of up to 200,000 USD.
In addition, the 2021 Southeast Asia War Championship will also bring opportunities for teams from Australia and New Zealand through the Oceania qualifiers.
Southeast Asia War Championship 2021 will have 3 stages:
● Stage 1 – Starting round: Taking place from 14 – 19/9.
● Stage 2 – group stage: Taking place from 23 – 26/9.
● Stage 3 – Final round: Taking place from September 30, 2021 – October 3.
8 Autumn SEA Series of each area and 1 Ocean Championship team will enter group 1. The remaining teams will default to group 2.
– Vietnam: 1 group 1 – 3 groups 2
– Thailand: 1 group 1 – 2 groups 2
– Taipei China: 1 Group 1 – 2 group 2
– Oceania: 1 Group 1
– The remaining areas of Southeast Asia: 1 Group 1 – 1 Group 2
Note:
– The third group of Vietnam in Vietnam will depend on the results of EVOS Esports in the play-off Icon Series SEA SEA in Thailand. The current EVOS Esports is guaranteed to be 1 in the boot round because of the Summer Super Cup championship record. However, if they cannot be in the top 3 final of the Thai autumn SEA Series, they will be allowed to win the third group of the third group of Vietnam.
– Why is Vietnam more than Thailand?Although not winning the Summer Super Cup, Vietnam has two representatives to the semi -finals of the tournament, while Thailand only has EVOS. But Vietnam can still lose this priority when EVOS cannot reach the top 3 final of the Sea SEA SEA ICON SEA in Thailand.
