This is the second time, VCS was held the final round at Nguyen Du Stadium. In 2024, the VCS Organizing Committee also held the VCS 2024 Final round at this site. The event has attracted a large number of fans, content creators to attend in two days of organizing with the series of exchanges, playing games to receive rewards. In the VCS 2024 final, the Esports GAM has become a champion after the 3-0 result against Vikings Esports (currently MGN Vikings Esports) in the final final.
In addition to the venue, VCS also confirmed 4 teams will attend the VCS 2025 finals, Saigon Dino, Ho Chi Minh City Team Flash, Ho Chi Minh City SN Cybercore Esports and Vungtau Never Give Up. The teams are chosen based on achievements throughout the 2025 season, including 1 spring champion (Saigon Dino) and 3 teams that own the best achievement in the summer (Ho Chi Minh City Team Flash, Ho Chi Minh City SN Cybercore Esports and Vungtau Never Give Up).
In terms of formula, 4 teams will play live, delineating the results by Bo5 to find the winning team. In addition to the title, the VCS 2025 team will win the official ticket to the LCP 2026 promotion round, competing with other teams in the region to win the competition at the highest League of Legends tournament of the Asia -Pacific region.
In 2025, the SaiGon Dino squad (Hyper Vortex Esports previously dominated VCS with two championships in both spring and summer. In addition, the top 4 summer also has 3 teams MVK Academy, Ho Chi Minh City Team Flash and Saigon Secret but only Ho Chi Minh City Team Flash is the team participating in the VCS final round because the other two teams are part of the team playing in LCP. Accordingly, the last two finals to the final round will be transferred to Ho Chi Minh City SN Cybercore Esports and Vungtau Never Give Up.
