On August 19, the BTC BTC Series SEA SEA of Vietnam 2021 and Riot Games Southeast Asia received a notice about the SBTC Esports members who have positive results of Covid-19. Shortly thereafter, the entire SBTC organization conducted a quick test of Covid-19. Earlier, all were the first Moderna vaccine on August 14-15.
To ensure the health safety when playing, the BTC decided to postpone the final of Vietnam's autumn SEA Series Icon 2021 until the SBTC team completely recovered. Besides, SBTC is also allowed to change emergency personnel if required.
SBTC Esports is one of the four representatives of Vietnam to attend the Sea Championship 2021, along with the Flash team, Saigon Phantom and Divine Esports. 21 best teams from the 2021 autumn SEA Series Icon system will participate in the 2021 Southeast Asian War Championship. The teams from 8 regions of Southeast Asia include: Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Taipei China and Hong Kong will compete with the championship of the tournament with a total prize of up to 200,000 USD.
8 Autumn SEA Series of each area and 1 Ocean Championship team will enter group 1. The remaining teams will default to group 2.
– Vietnam: 1 group 1 and 3 groups 2
– Thailand: 1 group 1 and 2 groups 2
– Taipei China: 1 group 1 and 2 groups 2
– Oceania: 1 Group 1
– The remaining areas of Southeast Asia: 1 group 1 and 1 group 2
