Sea Championship will officially start today (September 14) with matches in the start round. Attending the tournament as Vietnam's No. 2 seed, DV will face Boom Esports (Indonesia) in the opening match. In addition, in Group A area, DV also encountered three other names, Buriram United Esports and Berjaya Dragons.
The teams will compete 5 days in the boot round to find 3 names in the group stage from September 23 to 26. Here, 8 teams will be divided into 2 tables, and the two teams with the best results will win the right to play-off the championship. In addition to DV, Vietnam also has two other representatives in the boot round are Saigon Phantom (Group B) and Team Flash (Table C).
With the throne at the Icon Series SEA SEA in the last autumn 2021, SBTC Esports has become the No. 1 seed of Vietnam and approached the group stage. Meanwhile, this year's SEA Championship will receive an amount of up to 200,000 USD.
