The Publisher of League of Legends has officially announced information about the second international tournament of the year, Mid-Season Invitational 2025. Accordingly, the tournament will take place for two weeks, from 27/6-12/7 in Vancouver, Canada. The competition is also set at Pacific Coliseum, a famous stadium in this North American country.

Pacific Coliseum is a venue that has held many famous sports events, especially the place to host the art skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics. With the League of Legends, this field has organized the LCS Na Play-off event, the precursor of the LCS tournament. Here, Team Solomid won the North American championship after defeating Cloud9 with a score of 3-2 in the final.
At the upcoming MSI 2025, 10 teams come from 5 Korean areas (LCK), China (LPL), EMEA (LEC), America (LTA) and Asia -Pacific (LCP) will play in two stages. In phase 1 and 4 seed teams No. 2 of the areas will play in the formula of the winning branch – branch losing to identify the two teams in the next round. Because LCK is the First Stand 2025 championship area, both representatives participating in the tournament will be straight in phase 2.
At the end of phase 1, the teams will enter phase 2 with 8 teams. Here, the teams will continue to play according to the winning branch – the losing branch, similar to the play -off round of the MSI 2023 and 2024. Riot Games also announced the bonus for this tournament to increase to 2 million USD, 8 times higher than last year's tournament.
The MSI 2025 champion will receive tickets directly to the 2025 World Championship, provided that the team will come to the Play-off of the summer tournament. In addition, the top 4 of this tournament will also receive tickets directly to the Esports World Cup, the international tournament takes place immediately after MSI 2025.
