Ascension Pacific tournament will now take place from 20 to 29 September 2024”

But we feel this decision is necessary for the benefit of our teams and communities.” According to the initial information, the tournament is intended to be held at Ariake Gym-Ex in Tokyo, where the Japanese Split 2 took place.
VCT Pacific Ascension is a tournament organized by Riot Games for Challengers teams that are not in the franchise system in the Asia -Pacific region (APAC). In 2024, the tournament will change the format when 10 teams participating from the tournaments will be divided into 5 pairs, competing in the winning branch – the branch to choose the champion. Meanwhile, in 2023, the teams were divided into 2 tables, from which to select 6 teams to play-off.

Currently, Riot Games has not yet published how to divide the seeds for this tournament. The VCT Pacific Ascension 2024 champion team will join the VCT Pacific 2025, the tournament of the official trade franchise system and have the opportunity to attend international tournaments such as Masters and Champions, like G2 Esports made in 2024.
