ASIAD 19 is the second time that the Mobile Union has been on the list of Esports competitions. At ASIAD 18, the Vietnam National Mobile Union team has won a bronze medal.
According to the announcement from the Vietnam Entertainment Electronic Sports Association, the Lien Lien Vietnam team team attended ASIAD 19 including 6 athletes Huynh Phuong Ngan, Dang Huynh Truong, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Sy Tuan Linh, Nguyen Thi Phuong Yen and Nguyen Duc Viet.
The group stage of Lien Lien Mobile will take place from 9h – 16h40 on 24/9. Shortly thereafter, the quarterfinals will take place from 19h – 21h on the same day.
The two semi -finals will take place at 9am – 11h and 14h – 16h on 25/9. The bronze medal match has not set the schedule. Meanwhile, the gold medal match will be held at 19h – 21h on 26/9.
Esports at ASIAD 19 will take place at Hangzhou electronic sports center. Chinese media said electronic sports are the only subject in Hangzhou with a random ticketing system. In addition, Esports in ASIAD 19 is expected to become one of the most popular events with the highest ticket price.
