Valorant: Gen.g Esports reunion coach Elmapuddy

On his official Twitter, Gen.G Esports has just announced signing a contract with coach Elmapuddy. Gen.G Esports decision is made when the North American LCQ will only be officially started. For CSGO fans, Elmapuddy is no longer a strange name when she has led the gen.G Esports in the period of 2019-2020.

In early 2021, the Australian captain decided to break up with Gen.G Esports to seek new challenges in Cloud9 shirt. However, after only 2 months Elmapuddy came to power, Cloud9 announced the dissolution of the CSGO squad. Therefore, Elmapuddy has become a free coach and decided to reunite Gen.G Esports with a new game, Valorant.

The 2021 season has not been successfully closed with Gen.G Esports when the North American representative did not win any bright title. However, with the score of 50, Gen.G Esports is still eligible to attend the North American LC. This is the tournament to find Na's third representative to attend Valorant Champions in December besides Sentinels and Team Envy.

The LCQ of North America will take place from October 12 to October 17 according to the Winning – Branch Form of Losing with 10 teams participating in the competition including XSET, Version1, 100 Thieves, Faze Clan, LumoSity Gaming, Cloud9 Blue, Rise, Order, Peace, Chiefs Esports Club and Gen.G Esports. Of the 10 teams above, Order and Peace are two teams from Oceania.

Meanwhile, Gen.G Esports expects to achieve good results in the North American LCD with recruiting coach Elmapuddy. The official squad of Gen.G Esports includes Anthony “GMD” Guimond, Kenneth “KOOSTA” Suen, Nolam “Temperature” Pepper (borrowed from Evil Geniuses), Nicholas “Nature” Garrison and Shawn “Shawn” O'Rey.
