Sharing on his personal Twitter, coach Mikes said: “After about 3 months of waiting to proceed to extend the contract and do not receive the contact from the organization, I decided not to continue to accompany the future team.

“I am very proud to witness the progress of Team Envy and the team progresses very far at Masters 3. I am also happy that the team is more likely to develop in the near future. With me personally, I will continue to accept the offer for the coach position in other teams,” Mikes added.

Team Envy successfully played at Masters 3 when it came to the final match.

At Masters 3 took place in Berlin, Team Envy entered the final even without the appearance of coach Mikes. Because, due to visa -related issues, coach Mikes could not fly with the whole team to Germany. Despite losing 0-3 against Gambit Esports in the final, Team Envy still won tickets to attend Valorant Champions in December.

However, when coach Mikes decided to leave, Team Envy will have 2 months to find other coaches and help the players get used to the new way of operating to the Valorant Champions. In addition, Team Envy is also seeking to completely solve the contract of Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, who was borrowed from the Envy team from the FaZe Clan to attend the Masters 3.

Last June, Marved joined Team Envy to replace the position of Jake “Kaboose” McDonald. The official team of Team Envy is currently Pujan “FNS” Mehta, Victor “Victor” Wong, Austin “Crashies” Roberts, Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker and Marved. Before Kaboose, Team Envy also pushed Anthony “Mummay” Dipaolo to the bench to replace with Yay's position.
