The WCS Vietnam group stage takes place from March 3 to March 27 with the participation of 8 teams including: Team Flash (Vietnam representative attending the SEA Games 31), SBTC Esports, Cerberus Esports, Saigon Phantom, MDH Esports, The Legendary Ganker, Royal Palace, As Esports.
In the group stage, 8 teams will compete in the round 2 and the second leg. The matches of the WCS Vietnam group stage 2022 will be delineated by the Bo5.
4 teams with the best record in the group stage will win the right to play the championship play-off round. The WCS Vietnam play -off round 2022 takes place from 1/4 to 10/4.
The new 2022 season of WCS will have the participation of the teams participating in Southeast Asia Icon Series last season and the new teams have passed the qualifying round. 6 domestic tournaments of WCS include Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore and Taipei China & Hong Kong (known as WCS Masters).
The teams that win in the play -off round of the regional tournament will participate in WCS Finals – the final competition of the Asia -Pacific War. Accordingly, the four strongest teams WCS Finals will represent the Asia -Pacific region to attend the global championship Icons that takes place in Europe this summer.
