In addition, 4 Paper Rex, Talon Esports, Geng and DRX teams will not need to play in the first round but are specially in the second round. These are also the teams who have participated in the Valorant Champions 2024 tournament in Seoul, South Korea.
In 2025, VCT Pacific will welcome two new teams, Boom Esports and NS Redforce. Earlier, NS Redforce with the name Sin Prisa Gaming won the VCT Pacific Ascension 2024 and directly won tickets to VCT Pacific. With Boom Esports, this team is runner -up, but still attending the tournament because Bleed has been eliminated for internal problems.
Based on the draw results, the focus of the first round will be in the first branch when rookie Boom Esports will face T1 and the winning team will continue to meet Paper Rex.
