MID-SEASON INVITATIONAL (MSI) 2025 is the second international tournament of the year of professional League of Legends, held in Vancouver, Canada from June 27-12. The tournament gathered 10 teams from 5 areas of LCK, LPL, LEC, LTA, LCP, with each area of 2 teams attending. The tournament will be divided into two stages: Play-in and Bracket rounds.
The Play-in round will have 4 teams from 4 regions, respectively LEC (represented by G2 Esports), LPL (Bilibili Gaming), LCP (GAM ESPORTS) and LTA South (Furia). The teams will compete in the defeated branch – with the matches are delineated based on the regional results at the First Stand 2025.
In the Bracket round, 2 teams from Play-in will play with 5 regional champions and No. 2 seeds LCK (specially without play-in due to LCK is the First Stand 2025 championship area). 8 teams will be divided into 4 seed groups, based on draws to determine the match in the first round. The teams from the same area will not be able to confront in the first match.
According to the format, 8 teams will continue to play in the formula of the victory – branch to find the champion. All matches of MSI 2025 will determine the results with the Bo5, with the ban/selection of Fearless Draft.

The total prize for MSI 2025 was announced as US $ 2 million (about 51 billion VND), 8 times the total prize of MSI 2024 was 250 thousand USD (6.3 billion VND). The MSI 2025 champion will go straight to the 2025 World Championship (in case of attending the play-off of the last season of the year). In addition, the two areas with the best results at MSI 2025 will win 4 of the last tournament of the year.
