The Krafton publisher announced that the Finals 2025 PMGC will be held in Thailand. Thus, the Finals round of PMGC will return to Southeast Asia after being held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2022. This is also the first time Thailand has organized a major event of PUBG Mobile.
Previously, Thailand had held major events of PUBG Mobile, the most recently the Finals round of the 2024 PUBG Mobile Super League Sea Summer. The organizers of the tournament selected Samut Prakan, a province near Bangkok to organize the event where Boom Esports became the tournament champion.
Besides 2025 PMGC, the other major tournaments of PUBG Mobile have been determined by the venue. Accordingly, the 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open will be held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan, while the 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup is still set in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia like the event in 2024.
The 2024 PMGC tournament has just ended last night with the champion, Dplus, the runner -up is the Rignum Carya Bra Esports and the army is Nigma Galaxy. The event also attracted more than 900,000 viewers at the same time at the highest time. In addition, the average view of the tournament reached 287,472 viewers with more than 28 million total hours.
