2024 VCT Vietnam Challengers Split 1 will be divided into two stages: Swiss round (February 15 – March 3) and Play -off round (March 8 – March 13). The Swiss round has the presence of 8 teams including the current champion Fancy United Esports, Team Flash, Rapid Lofi, Dominus Esports, Esports, Crocodile Tears, Lazy LFO, Kobiet. In the Swiss round, 8 teams will be randomly drawn to choose the opponent.
All the matches of the Swiss round will take place in the BO3 format. However, the two live matches will be Bo5. After finishing the Swiss round, the 6 teams with the highest achievement will win the right to the play-off round.
In the Play -off round, 2024 VCT Vietnam Challengers Split 1 will switch to the Winning – Branch Formula. All matches in the Play-off round will deliver the results with the BO3, while the finals of the losing branch and the final is the BO5.
The total bonus of the tournament has decreased to 550 million. The 2024 VCT Vietnam Challengers Split 1 team will win 150 million VND. Meanwhile, the runner -up team will also earn 125 million.
