FPT chose Split, UNC to choose Sunset and Ascent as the decisive map. Entering the Split, FPT played attack first and quickly took 5-0. UNC tried to shorten the score but finally let FPT set the results 9-3 after the first round.
After changing sides, UNC returned strongly when shortening the score 9-7. However, FPT has won the remaining 4/5 rounds to end the Split map with a 13-8 victory, thereby taking the lead 1-0.
Go to Sunset map, FPT chose to play defensive first. Following the uplifting momentum from Split, FPT took 2-1 before winning 6 rounds to increase the distance to 8-1. The UNC's efforts only helped the rookie of the tournament won 2 more rounds and the defending champion continued to create a gap of 9-3.
On the offensive side, FPT did not miss any chance when winning the last 4 rounds to win 13-3, ending the match with a 2-0 victory.
