The 2024 PMGC tournament takes place from October 31 to December 8 with the group stage from October 31 – November 17. From November 14-17, the representative of Vietnam is Team Secret played the Green group stage with teams like Kia Dplus, Team Liquid or Influence Rage.
Team Secret did not start badly in the first two days of the group stage. On the first day, the representative of Vietnam won 1 time in the top 4 and 1 time in the top 3 with 11 kills, winning the 5th place on the rankings.
On the day of the second competition, despite not good start with the top 8 and top 15, the “survival” tactic of Team Secret still helped this team win 2 more times in the top 2 despite dropping 1 class on the total rankings.
However, in the next two days of competition, Team Secret was no longer able to keep the form. On the 3rd day, despite the good start with the top 9 and 7 defeat points, in the next 5 games this team only won 4 kills and always outside the top 10. Finally on the 4th, Secret also had only 1 time in the top 10 when ranked 7th in game 20, the rest were outside of 11th.
At the end of the Green group stage, Team Secret reached 93 points and finally ranked on the rankings. This achievement caused the representative of Vietnam to be officially eliminated from the tournament with two other Southeast Asian representatives, RRQ Ryu (Indonesia) and Celtcomdigi Alliance (Malaysia). Meanwhile, the three teams won the right round to the Finals round, Brute Force, Influence Rage and Thundertalk Gaming.
